Homeopathic Remedies:

Complex Remedies
Fertile 1 Tonicum
Ingredients: Diluted extracts of Windflower.
Homeopathic: Pulsatilla 3x.
Packaging: 50ml dropper 15% alcohol
Dosage: 15-10 drops depending on size of patient 3 times daily until the dog shows signs of heat. Use max 3 weeks. It can then be followed by fertile 2 for a further 3 weeks.
Individual Remedy Pictures:
Pulsatilla: In this low 3x potency here it is believed to encourage the production of FSH and growth of the ovarian follicle inducing oestrus(season). We recommend you try this remedy for dogs who do not come into season readily. It should be followed up with Cimicifuga 3x to then help the dog ovulate. It will not shorten the normal cycle.
N.B.
if you have a dog who is constitutionally Puls they may be very sensitive to the remedy and a proving/aggravation occur e.g. vaginal discharge Stop the treatment if this is noted.

If fertile 1 has not helped after 3 week switch anyway to Fertile 2 for 3 weeks, if still no response Ignatia or the constitutional remedy are required.
Fertile 2 Tonicum
Ingredients: Diluted extracts of Black Snake Root and purple cone flower.
Homeopathic: Cimicifuga 3x., Echinaecea purpurea MT
Packaging: 50ml dropper 62% alcohol
Dosage: 10-20 drops depending on size of patient 3 times daily for 3 weeks during the season (oestrus).
Individual Remedy Pictures:
Cimicifuga:To encourage ovarian follicle ripening by reinforcing LH.
Echinaecea: To stimulate resistance to infection which may lead to endometriosis and poor implantation.
They are given together because it can be hard to find the cause of infertility in many cases
( You can continue to give Echinaecea without the Cimicifuga by switching to Resistance Tonic if there is a pussy discharge after mating or in early pregnancy.)
Indicated poor infertility or low numbers of pups possibly with purulent discharge. Also in the case of what appears to be early absorption of pups: normal pregnancy which suddenly stops after 3 weeks or so. In this case give Fertile 2 for 3 weeks of next season and also for 3 weeks afterwards 6 in total.
NB.Also remember to check the dog's fertility, blood tests to get timing of mating right etc.
It has also been used when the bitch stays in season too long because the Corpus leuteum function is poor Give for 6 weeks. with Ustilago 3x (heavy bleeding) or Apis 6x (nymphomania)
